• Fundamentals of Epidemiology:Training on disease patterns, risk factors, and methods for understanding the distribution and determinants of health conditions.
• Disease Surveillance: Strengthening capacity for case reporting, outbreak detection, and use of mobile/digital tools for real-time monitoring.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Teaching participants how to design surveys, collect community health data, and use statistical tools to analyze health trends.
• Outbreak Investigation: Simulating real-world outbreak investigations (e.g., cholera or schistosomiasis cluster) and teaching systematic approaches to case finding, contact tracing, and response.
